"I would've been proud to own any of the entries submitted for the contest. Picking the finalists alone was not easy given the high level of the work.''

Ralph Oberg

“It is always enlightening to see the incredible variety of personal styles and approaches all together in a group of works like this. Everyone of them has it’s own very unique vision and skill set. Anyone acting as a Judge of others work can only say what appeals to his own sensibilities, and not what is ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’. No one has the last word on that, thankfully, because the charm of art is in it’s individuality. I enjoyed seeing so many honest efforts and applaud all that entered and request they realize that to pick a few from many is a difficult task and is only one man’s opinion that always fails to call attention to much good work. The idea of a team of judges is good because it naturally averages several educated personal opinions.”

Constance

"After decades of exhibiting in galleries of the sought after high-end NYC art market, I was amazed that the quality of the work submitted far out shown anything I have seen in the East Coast galleries in the past two decades. The work that I was privileged to view exhibited artists masterful in the craft of painting and free of fained intent. I was inspired and encouraged to see that most of the participants were painting from their hearts and in direct response to their observations of the natural world."

Matt Smith

"Given all the terrific entries to the SourceTek cover contest it was very difficult to make a decision. However, Ned's painting was a true stand-out and typical of his devotion to quality art."
